There are speed limits on highways and roads in all European countries, except Germany. In Germany, on the part of the highway has no speed limits.

1 In Belarus maximum speed on most of the M1 motorway Brest - Minsk - Russian border is 120 km/h.

2 In Bulgaria maximum speed limit on higway 140 km/h is permitted only in those areas that meet all safety requirements. On the rest highways maximum speed limit — 130 km/h.

3 In the Czech Republic, the speed limit on the motorway within towns is reduced to 80 km/h.

4 In Germany, 130 km/h is the recommended maximum speed on motorways. Many sections of the German motorway network (according to wikipedia more than 50%) are now covered by speed limits, usually ranging from 80 km/h to 130 km/h.

5 In Lithuania, the speed limit on the motorway and expressway from 1 November to 31 March is reduced to 110 km/h.

6 In Norway, there are eight sections of road on which the speed limit was raised to 110 km/h.

7 In Poland, from 23:00 to 05:00 the speed limit in town increases from 50 km/h to 60 km/h.
